Senior/ Construction Project Site Management Specialists

As a Muller Construction Project Manager on smaller sites, you would often have full responsibility for the whole project. On larger sites, you may be in charge of a particular section and in cases reporting to the Development Director. If you work as a Senior Construction Project Manager, you may be required to oversee several projects at the same time.
You will be capable of managing the running of sites, and the supervision and leadership of a team of operatives/sub-contractors, to carry our building projects in accordance with health and safety and good working practices.
Applicants should have knowledge in this role and be competent in delivering construction schemes, and demonstrate suitable qualifications and development.
Your typical duties would include:
• discussing plans with architects, surveyors and buyers before building work starts
•
planning work schedules for the job, using project management software and management information systems
•
preparing the site by hiring staff, installing temporary offices and taking delivery of materials
•
working closely with the site workforce once building is underway
•
monitoring progress, costs and checking quality
making sure the work meets legal requirements and building regulations
•
reporting regularly to the client

responsibility for supervising the works
ensuring that operatives and sub-contractors comply with health and safety requirements, and ensure all information is valid and in place during the works
•
responsible for making sure that all site operations adhere to company rules and regulations including attendance, mobile phone, driving, no smoking and alcohol and drugs policies and to ensure that the appropriate action is taken if these polices and procedures are not followed or broken
•
attend pre and post-inspection works and advise on appropriate action and job requirements, and assist with design solutions
•
provide feedback appropriately and constructively on workmanship and productivity
•
deal and respond effectively to variation requests highlighted by the client and sub contractors and keeping records for the company
•
produce reports on H & S, programming and labour attendances as required
•
undertake any administrative task that is required to fulfil the responsibilities of your role
•
arrange/attend meetings with clients/sub-contractors
