Now in their 19th year of recognising outstanding achievements, these awards are assessed independently and objectively, focusing on both the individuals delivering care and their advisors. The Care Workers’ Charity is dedicated to providing immediate financial aid through crisis grants and offering vital mental health support. The third pillar of their work is advocating for fair treatment and pay and recognition of care workers as a skilled workforce. With over £5.9 million granted to more than 10,700 care workers, 500+ individuals benefiting from mental health initiatives, and active engagement in advocacy efforts, they’re at the forefront of ensuring care workers receive the support they deserve.
