Proposal
An outline planning application has been submitted for a 60 bed care home in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire to Monmouthshire County Borough Council.
Abergavenny is a market town and community in Monmouthshire, Wales. Abergavenny is promoted as a Gateway to Wales; it is approximately 6 miles from the border with England. The proposed site is currently located within a residential area to the north west of Abergavenny town centre on the west side of Pen-Y-Pound, the site occupies approximately 1.2 acres.
All aspects of the Care Home have been designed to achieve maximum residential comfort and well-being in a homely environment where staff are facilitated to deliver the highest standard of care.
The new build Care Home will include the following facilities:
- Dayspace Lounge/Dining/Cinema
- Cafe/Bistro within Reception Area
- Hair and Nail Salon
- Associated ancillary facilities, offices and staff areas on each floor
- High quality, secure landscaped gardens for residents
- Spacious bedrooms
