The property sits on the Balcombe Road which runs North to South and leads towards Crawley. The North of the site leads to Radford Road. The site is situated to the North East of Crawley and the South East of Gatwick airport, between the M23 and railway line. The mature, treelined site is accessed either by road or rail from the Crawley town centre, Gatwick Airport Station or Three Bridges Station and has good links in to London and out of Brighton.

The proposed development is for a two-storey, sustainable care home building which would feature en-suite room accommodation, communal facilities and generous landscaped gardens including a newly formed site entrance.
