Proposal

Muller Property Group is bringing forward proposals for a sustainable residential development on land at Cliffe Road, Glossop, helping to address local housing need across the borough.

The proposals comprise around 55 high-quality homes in a range of sizes and tenures, including affordable housing, designed to meet the needs of local people, families and downsizers alike.

The development has been shaped through a landscape-led approach that responds positively to the site’s surroundings and existing residential character. Areas of public open space, landscaping and biodiversity enhancements are proposed throughout the site to create an attractive and sustainable new neighbourhood integrated with the wider community.

The proposals seek to deliver high-quality homes in a sustainable location while enhancing the environmental quality of the site and strengthening connections to surrounding amenities and green infrastructure.

 

Location and Access

The proposed development site comprises approximately 6 acres of land located off Cliffe Road within the urban area of Glossop, Derbyshire.

The site benefits from a highly sustainable location with strong access to local amenities, schools, healthcare facilities and public transport services, including Glossop railway station and surrounding bus routes.

Situated within an established residential area on the edge of the Peak District National Park, the site occupies an attractive landscape setting with access to surrounding green infrastructure and recreational opportunities.

Vehicle access arrangements will be designed to ensure safe and efficient movement to and from the site, while pedestrian connections will link the development with surrounding neighbourhoods and local facilities.
