Muller Property Group has appointed Anwyl Homes as development partner for a 40-home residential scheme in Nantwich.

The three-acre site, located off Peter De Stapleigh Way, Stapeley, forms part of the wider Maylands Park development and has now been acquired by Anwyl following a collaborative planning process between the two companies.

The development, to be known as Weaver Forge, will deliver a mix of one-bedroom apartments through to four-bedroom detached family homes, with 30% designated as affordable housing. More than £275,000 will also be invested locally through Section 106 contributions, supporting secondary education, special educational needs provision, healthcare and recreation facilities.

Colin Muller, chief executive of Muller Property Group, said:

“Anwyl Homes has an excellent track record for delivering high-quality residential developments, and we are pleased to be partnering with them to bring this site forward.

“From the outset, our focus has been on securing a sustainable, well-designed scheme that responds to local housing need while also delivering meaningful investment into community infrastructure. Through close collaboration, we have successfully navigated the planning process and positioned the site for delivery.

“This appointment ensures that the development will now progress at pace, providing a range of new homes — including affordable provision — in a well-connected and popular location.”

Mathew Tudor-Owen, land director for Anwyl Homes Cheshire and North Wales, added:

“We’re pleased to be working with Muller Property Group once again, building on previous successful projects. Weaver Forge will strengthen our presence in the area and deliver high-quality homes that meet the diverse needs of the local community.”

Work on site is expected to commence in the coming weeks, with the first homes anticipated to be ready for occupation in the autumn.
