Muller submitted planning application on a parcel of land to the south of Barons Cross Road capable of delivering 118 homes in Leominster, Herefordshire.
The site is approximately 9.8 acres in area, located on the southern edge of Leominster and bound to its northern and western boundaries by the existing residential development off Barons Cross Road. The site forms part of the town’s urban fringe.
The site is approximately 1.3km to the south-west of the town centre with good pedestrian cycle links to the facilities therein and the Leominster railway station. This site is near a number of local facilities closer to the site than the town centre including the Morrisons supermarket, Westfield Pharmacy and Primary School.
Before submitting the outline planning application, Muller received pre-application comments from Herefordshire Council in relation to the proposed residential scheme of circa 118 dwellings. Feedback was gained from the Council and their consultees to inform the indicative layout, relevant reports and submission.
An access appraisal was carried out and suitable access points were identified to serve the proposed development. A suite of surveys and reports to accompany the outline planning application were also submitted. The application was refused by Herefordshire Council and we are to submit a further planning application
