Muller was granted an outline planning permission for 44 dwellings on a site situated in Haslington, Cheshire.
Haslington lies within the Cheshire plain, centrally between Crewe and Sandbach. The site itself is located approximately 0.6 kilometres south of the town centre with a predominantly residential area and measures approximately 1.46 hectares (3.6 acres) in size. Bounded to the west and south by residential development, the site is situated on Crewe Road, Vicarage Road and Cartwright Road. To the east and north is open countryside and further grazing land. The town is well serviced for schools, with a number of primary and secondary schools in the immediate and surrounding areas. The village also benefits from other community facilities such as churches, a community centre and parks, as well as a small supermarket.
Muller saw a shortfall in the Council’s housing supply figures and took the opportunity to submit an outline planning application in September 2012. Planning permission was granted in June the following year.
