Muller has owned the land in Sandyford, Staffordshire since 2006. A number of historic planning permissions have been gained for a number of uses (trade counter, showroom, etc.) but unfortunately end users weren’t forthcoming and the permissions expired.
Keen to make use of the land, which is in a highly prominent position, Muller submitted a retail planning application in June 2018 for a coffee drive-thru, convenience store and additional retail unit.
Detailed discussions were carried out during the consultation exercise, including gaining the support of the Sandyford & Goldenhill Residents Association, which resulted in an Officer’s recommendation for approval. The application subsequently gained planning approval.
Planning permission was granted for a coffee drive -thru, convenience store and two additional retail units. Works have now completed on site to construct the Costa Coffee drive thru with Tesco Express occupying the convenience store retail unit and have commenced trading.
We have a keen interest for the remaining 500 sq. ft retail unit and are looking for a tenant to occupy the 1,200 sq ft. unit.
