Development Details

Muller Property Group is promoting 39 acres (15.85 hectares) of agricultural land located at the southern edge of Clock Face for residential development.

Clock Face is a village and area of the town of St Helens, 4 miles south of the town centre. The site lies within the designated Green Belt and on the edge of the defined urban area of St Helens. The site immediately adjoins the settlement boundary and is in a sustainable location, with close proximity to the M62 Motorway and within walking and cycling distance of a range of key services and facilities.

St Helens Borough Council

Muller Property Group submitted representations to St Helens Borough Council in 2022 and 2024, promoting the site through the Local Plan Update for Green Belt release.

We are now preparing an outline planning application for a new residential neighbourhood development to blend with the existing village of Clock Face, comprising:

  • Approximately 150 new homes for first-time buyers, families and the elderly
  • Two safe points of vehicular and pedestrian access
  • Open space including new formal children’s play spaces
  • Substantial Green Infrastructure including retention of existing hedgerows and trees and enhancement of existing vegetation, and new planting including a number of new trees
  • Sustainable urban drainage features
